"Aging" gracefully

So the other day . . . when walking through the woods . . . I came across this beautiful "old" tree.
It had so many exposed roots . . . with rocks around them . . . and beneath them . . .
A few scares from old barbwire . . . and some branches that had died . . .
And it made me think . . .
"Aging" for me . . . is like this tree . . .
You see . . . "growing old" . . . is about "adapting" to our "environment".
We need to stay grounded . . .
Keep growing no matter what . . .
And know when to let go . . .
"Aging" is an extraordinary process . . . where we become the person we always should have been . . .
And we need to "learn" from this tree . . .
Why you ask???
To stay grounded . . .
Connect with our roots . . .
Turn over a new leaf . . .
Bend before we break . . .
