Are we "Omega-3" deficient?

So today . . . let's take a look at what "Omega-3" deficiency looks like . . .

We would have problems with . . .

Dry skin, hair and nails

Fatigue

Trouble sleeping

Deficits in concentration and attentiveness

Joint pain

Leg cramps

Allergy symptoms

Excessive ear wax

Cardiovascular concerns

Difficult menstrual cycle for women of all ages

Dry eyes

Depression

So how can we fix this "deficiency"???

Well . . . by eating foods "high" in "Omega-3 fatty acids" like . . .

Fish - anchovies, Herring, Mackerel, black cod, salmon, sardines, bluefin tuna, white fish, striped bass or cobia . . .

We can also find it in . . .

Walnuts

Chia seeds

Flaxseeds

Hemp seeds

Egg yolks

Green veggies

And Wild rice

Now . . . if you're not a fan of any of the above . . . and you want to purchase it in supplement form . . .

This is what to look for . . .

First . . . the Omega-3 supplement . . . must "only" contain Omega-3 fats . . . "NO" Omega-6 fats as many supplement do

Then we need to look for one that contains "EPA" and "DHA"

Why you ask???

Well . . . EPA "Eicosapentaenoic acid" . . . works on the body from the "neck-down" . . . and are used for heart disease, preventing heart attack and depression.

And . . . DHA "Docosahexaenoic acid" . . . works on the body from the "neck-up" . . . and is essential for the growth and functional development of the brain in infants and maintenance for normal brain function in adults.

So we can clearly see . . . just how important it is to consume "Omega-3 fatty acids" on a daily basis.

Now tomorrow . . . let's talk about how our "babies" also need "Omega-3 fats.
