So yesterday . . . we spoke about the brain chemicals called "dopamine" and "endorphin" . . . that can mess up our "weight loss" efforts . . . among other things.
And today . . . we're going to talk about how to "correct" their "imbalance"
Okay . . . so what are ways to "reset" the "brain" and its "chemical" functions"???
Well . . . that would be doing things like . . .
Eating a healthy "anti-inflammatory" diet
Doing "mindful" exercises
Listening to peaceful music
Going outside in the fresh air
Exercising . . .
And most importantly . . . developing "healthy sleeping habits" . . .
You see . . . "sleeping" . . . is the body's way of "resetting" and "replenishing" itself . . .
And this is especially "important" for the "brain"!
So lets' break it down . . .
To "boost" our "dopamine" levels and "rebalance" them . . . we would need to . . .
Avoid process foods
Avoid foods high in saturated fats, sugar and caffeine
Get daily exercise
Get enough sleep
Doing activities that make you feel good
And eat foods like . . . almonds, apples, avocados, beets, eggs, fish oil, chicken, oats, leafy green, watermelon, olive oil and bananas
And taking supplements like vitamin D, magnesium, ginkgo and ginseng
Now . . . to "boost" our "endorphin" levels to "rebalance" them . . . we would need to . . .
Do some form of "movement" like . . .
Getting a massage
And eating foods like . . . leafy greens, spices, strawberries, avocados, nuts and seeds
And taking supplements like vitamin C
So "correcting" the "brain's" feeling chemicals . . . is really all about . . . "eating correctly" and getting the body "moving" again.
So tomorrow. . . let's talk about another element to "losing weight"
