"Cytokine Storm" - continued

Okay . . . so today we continue to talk about a "cytokine storm"
As we left off yesterday . . . we were discussing what can cause large numbers of "proinflammatory" cytokine to accumulate in the body causing overwhelming "inflammation".
And that would be . . . this Western diet we love so much . . .
So let's break it down and see what foods are a contributing factor . . .
SALT and HIGH SODIUM CONDIMENTS - like soy sauce and fish sauces. Also smoked, cured, salted or canned meat, fish or poultry including bacon, cold cuts, ham, sardines, caviar and anchovies, frozen breaded meats and dinners, such as burritos and pizza, canned entrees such as ravioli, spam and chili, salted nuts, and beans canned with salt added.
SUGAR and HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP - and table sugar is sucrose
ARTIFICIAL TRANS FATS - hydrogen is added to fat to make trans fats and this raises "bad" cholesterol levels in the body and lower "good" cholesterol
REFINED CARBOHYDRATES - breads, rolls, crackers, French fries, white rice, sugary cereals, etc.
DAIRY PRODUCTS - due to the saturated fat
REFINED GRAINS - like the "glutens" especially in wheat
MEAT - red meat that are not grass-fed, bacon, hot dogs, jerkies, pepperoni, salami, sausage, most deli meats
OMEGA-6's - canola oil, corn oil, mayonnaise, safflower oil, sunflower oil and peanut oil
Okay . . . so these are just some of the elements that can cause inflammation and "increase" a cytokine storm.
Now . . . a severe immune reaction in which the body releases too many "cytokines" into the blood too "quickly" . . . can cause all kinds of illness, weight issues and disease like arthritis, cancer, heart disease and Alzheimer's just to mention a few.
And as we now know . . . "inflammation" is the fire in the body that we can't see or feel, which makes it . . . a "silent" killer.
So let's switch tracks for a moment . . . and let me ask you this . . .
Did you ever wonder why some people get this virus and some don't . . . or some get this virus and have very mild symptoms if any . . . while others become deathly ill and possibly die . . .
Well . . . it all depends on if that people has a "cytokine storm" silently festering in their body "before" they come in contact with this virus.
You see . . . it's not actually the "virus" that kills us . . . it's the "cytokine storm".
The INFLAMMATION!
As science has already stated . . . the people that have died from this virus . . . "ALL" had "preexisting" health issues. And the people that are at a higher risk of being "infected" . . . are people with diabetes, heart conditions, cancer, etc., which are "ALL" inflammatory illnesses.
So the question for today is this . . . how do we reduce and control the "inflammation" in the body to "lessen" the risk of getting arthritis, heart disease, diabetes, cancer or even this "VIRUS"???
Well . . . the answer would be consuming "anti-inflammatory" foods to control and regulate our "cytokines". Such as berries, omega3 fatty acids like fatty fish, broccoli, avocados, peppers, mushrooms, grapes or green tea.
You see . . . scientists states that these cytokines and a "cytokine storm" are an immune response where the body starts to attack its own cells and tissues rather than just fighting off an invader.
So I can't say this enough people . . . WE NEED TO REDUCE OUR "INFLAMMATION" BY EATING AN "ANTI-INFLAMMATORY" DIET
