Okay . . . so yesterday we discovered that the food we eat takes between 24 and 72 hours to digest and leave the body . . . with "high" fat foods taking 3 or more days.
BUT . . . the "SUGAR" we just consumed from the "overload" of "candy" we just ate . . . can take anywhere from 7 days to 30 days to leave the body.
Oh man . . . right there . . . "Houston" we have a problem . . . because we still have Thanksgiving and Christmas knocking at our door.
So how do we survive the Holidays and our "sugar addiction"???
Well . . . first and foremost . . . we need to eliminate "dairy" from our diet . . .
Well . . . believe it or not . . . even on a regular day NOT "overloaded" with sugar . . .
"Dairy has "opioid peptides" present in them . . . and these "peptides" . . . play an active role in the central nervous system, endocrine, immune system and gastrointestinal tract.
And as we know . . . "opioid peptides" are "addictive".
A good example would be . . . "CHEESE" . . . it "triggers" the same part of the brain that many addictive drugs do . . . and this is due to the chemical called "casein" which is found in dairy products and can trigger the brain's "opioid receptors".
This is way we LOVE cheese . . . it's NOT the cheese itself . . . it's the "casein" it contains.
And this "casein" . . . is fueling us to want MORE SUGAR!
So with all that sugar and its "addictive" manor already harboring in our body . . . adding "dairy" to this upset . . . will make it almost impossible to . . . "QUIT THE SUGAR"!
Another element to our demise would be . . . "CAFFEINE"
Okay . . . I can hear you now . . . "I'M NOT GIVING UP MY COFFEE FOR ANYONE"
Well . . . maybe if you knew that too much "caffeine" can also worsen symptoms of "addiction".
Why you ask???
Well . . . "caffeine" intensifies feelings of worry, causes racing thoughts, increased the heart rate and can prevent relaxation and good quality sleep.
And this too . . . is due to "caffeine" CHANGING chemicals in the brain that make us develop a "tolerance" . . . just as they would to other drugs or alcohol.
This "TOLERANCE" . . . IS CALLED AN "ADDICTION" . . .
SIMPLE AS THAT . . .
And now add our "sugar" addiction to our dairy or caffeine addiction . . . and this will NEVER go away . . . and most likely end poorly.
Okay . . . so I'm sure you're reading through the lines here and realizing also . . . to stop "sugar" cravings and its "addiction" . . . we also have to STOP DRINKING ALCOHOL.
IT ALL GOES HAND IN HAND PEOPLE!!!!
And "addiction" is an "addiction" . . . no matter what the vise is . . . and they "all" thrive off of each other.
