Do we really understand what "Fat" is all about?

Yesterday, I spoke of the high "fat" volume in mayonnaise.
So today . . . let's better understand
When we look at the label on a container . . . what do we see???
Well . . . for most of us . . . we see the word "FAT" and the amount of fat grams the product contains.
BUT . . . what exactly does that mean???
Well . . . if we look under the "Fat" grams . . . we see the words . . . Saturated Fat and Trans Fat. That's what we're trained to look for.
But . . . the question for today is this . . . are we as consumers, supposed to understand what that really means . . . or are we supposed to be trusting soles to the manufacturers???
Well . . . today we break it down!
Now . . . looking at that information is a good thing . . .
BUT . . . what we really need to look at . . . is the "Ingredients" and/or "Other ingredients" part of this label.
That's where the true secrets of this product are really held.
So let's use "mayonnaise" as our example today, since we spoke of mayonnaise yesterday.
