Okay people . . . Summer is over and Fall is here . . .
And it's time to get back in shape and lose the summer vacation weight.
So the question for today is this . . . why is "fall" the perfect season to lose weight???
Well . . . the biggest reason is due to the amazing variety of fresh, seasonal "produce" that's available.
You see . . . this produce has all the vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that the body needs for fuel and energy to get the metabolism moving to lose the pounds.
So why else is "fall" the perfect time to get in shape???
Well . . . that would be . . .
ROUTINE - we're more likely to get into a good fitness routine with vacation season over and children back in school
WEATHER - it's cooler, which makes it more comfortable to take a walk or do an activity outside. Not to mention, seeing the beauty of the leaves turning color in itself is a wonderful mental inspiration.
ACTIVITIES - there are many outdoor activities for children and adults in the fall that help to lose the unwanted pound . . . all while having fun.
And finally . . . "PUMPKINS" . . . that's right . . . pumpkins people . . . and you thought they were just good for pumpkin pie and jack-o-lanterns . . .
Well, they are . . . but they're also good for weight loss.
You see . . . "pumpkin seed" have been consumed for centuries by a variety of cultures around the world for both a nutritionally sound food source and for medicinal purposes.
