Fighting a "Common Cold"

Okay . . . so today let's talk about how "I" treat a "common cold" . . .
First up . . . I totally agree with conventional medicine that we need "rest" and "fluids" . . .
But . . . I don't agree with the synthetic "antibiotics" part.
You see . . . conventional "antibiotics" ONLY kill certain "bacteria" . . . they DO NOT KILL VIRUSES.
But . . . what they do KILL is the body's "GOOD BACTERIA" and this is one of the reasons our health is in the condition it is today!
What we really need . . . is an natural "antiviral" to KILL the "common cold" viruses
You see . . . as I stated the other day . . . if our "immune system" is "weak" and "struggling" . . . and we come in contact with ANY virus . . . we're in trouble
And the first 3 or 4 days are crucial
Why you ask???
Well . . . that would be due to it taking that long for the body to develop "antibodies" to fight these germs.
Now . . . with the "cold" viruses being a lesser grade of virus . . . our "immune system" can normally take care of it and fight it off . . . even before our "antibodies" are made and needed.
But . . . if we constantly are catching "colds" . . . or get a "cold" that "won't" run its course . . . this is a clear indicator that the "immune system" is "struggling to keep up.
Okay . . . so the other day I said . . . we are "more" likely to get the "common cold" than the "flu" . . . so why is that???
Well . . . as we now know . . . when we get a "cold" . . . the body makes "antibodies" against that virus . . . so if we come in contact with that "same" virus again . . . the "antibodies" remind the body how to fight it off. Problem solved.
BUT . . . there are "more" than 200 different "cold" viruses out there . . . and the chances of us getting the same one . . . in the same "cold" season . . . well . . . it's pretty slim.
Therefore . . . every time we come in contact with a different virus . . . our body has to make new "antibodies" for THAT virus.
And this is why we seem to get a lot of "colds".
So keeping the body's "immune system" in tip-top condition is the key to the "common cold".
Okay . . . so here's what "I" use to combat . . . a "cold"
As I stated earlier . . . "rest" and drinking lots of "water" is a must . . .
Why???
