Today let's talk about what "foods" are good for the "lymphatic system" . . . helping it "cleanse" and "detox".
Okay . . . here we go . . .
"Healthy fats" - like nuts, seeds, coconut oil, olive oil and avocados can help the body fight inflammation, while strengthening vascular tissue and aiding in the removal of "fat-soluble waste" . . . while helping to absorb "fat-soluble vitamins and minerals".
"High-fiber foods" - like raw fruits and vegetable contain "enzymes" and "bioflavonoids" that can break down "toxic buildup" and "free radicals", while "fiber" promotes regular elimination and "cleansing" of the intestinal tract that keeps the "lymphatic system" healthy.
"Leafy greens" - like collard greens, kale, spinach, turnip greens, broccoli, mustard greens and dandelion leaves . . . are excellent for stimulating "lymph" and "blood circulation" which can speed up the removal of toxins and excess water in the body. These vegetables are rich in "chlorophyll" with strong "cleansing" properties.
"Low-sugar foods" - keep the body's "inflammation" in order . . . with avocados and berries helping the "lymph" function properly.
"Omega 3 fatty acids" - are called "medium-chain triglycerides and they "bypass" the "lymph" because they're small enough and don't need bile for transport. And this will help an already challenged "lymph system".
And what foods should be "avoided"???
Well . . . that would be . . .
Processed foods, artificial sweeteners, conventional dairy and meat, sugar, soy, corn, table salt, alcohol and "CAFFEINE",
