Is all "Calcium" the same?

Hi guys . . . it's so great to be back in the saddle again! I miss my office and you all!

So just a quick update before we get down to business . . .

As you can see . . . the swelling in my leg has gone way down. My pretty pink cast is actually a little loose now. Whoohoo!

So it's been 1 week since I broke my leg and the break feels like it's healing quite nicely. And after a week in bed (that was torcher) and some Mindy doctoring (taking my vitamins, minerals and a few herbs) :) . . . my torn meniscus and ligament in my knee . . . are no longer in pain. Thank you Lord! I've got this!!!!

Okay . . . so when we left off a week ago . . . we were talking about the importance of the vitamins and minerals that the body needs for optimal healthy and protecting us from illness and disease. Especially with this virus still lurking around.

Well . . . due to my current situation . . . I thought today we'd talk about "Calcium". And tomorrow start our "GET IN SHAPE" series.

Okay . . . so we all know about "calcium" and its benefits. And we know the older that we get . . . the more important it becomes.

But did you know . . . not all calcium is the same.

Most calcium supplements are made from "calcium carbonate", which is derived from chalk, limestone and marble that were produced by fossilized snails, shellfish, etc.

And with these supplements . . . they also have added magnesium. Why you ask???

Well . . . because as we know from previous Health tips . . . calcium needs magnesium to work correctly and be absorbed by the body.

But . . . what's the best kind of calcium to take???
