So we left off yesterday discussing how to stop this RNA virus called Corona.
One feasible way of stopping viral replication is to target the genetic machinery involved in the process - namely by splitting the RNA strands so that they can no longer function correctly,
And strengthening our immune system is another. In a healthy immune system our lymphocytes, T-cell and B-cell (I've spoken of them in other Health Tips) retain a memory of any previous infection that was serious enough to bring them into the battle. And as we know . . . Antibodies are formed to fight any infection it has copied. But when this RNA virus mutates, a weakened immune system can't recognize them and it takes longer to build a defense. Therefore, the RNA virus can kill before the lymphocytes are brought into play! And this is why this virus is selective with the human race. Some people have weaker immune systems than others.
So again I say . . . how do we fix our immune system? As I have repeatedly said in the past . . . a healthy gut is a healthy immune system. Correcting the ratio of "good" to "bad" bacteria, a healthy gut and immune system will have lymphocytes working at a premium, therefore controlling and killing the virus.
Okay . . . so here are a few of the factors that I found . . .
"Zinc" is effective in the "prevention" of the "replication" of the virus.
The Immune system needs "selenium" to work properly and to build up the white blood cell count. (that's the T-cells and B-cell lymphocytes)
The compound "lapachol" has proven effective against various viruses, including influenza, herpes simplex, and Polio because it can "inhibit replication".
Studies have shown that "glycyrrhizin", a compound found in licorice root was "more" effective in fighting coronavirus from SARS patients than 4 conventional antiviral drugs. It reduces viral replication, cell absorption and the virus's ability to penetrate cells. It is also being used to treat HIV.
So to me the "illusion" part of this virus and its pandemic . . . is being told that they don't know how it started and they have no cure! Because I just found 4 elements to fight this virus . . . and who the heck am I . . . just someone from the private sector.
