Living "without" a "Gallbladder"

So today let's continue our conversation about the "gallbladder" . . .

But this time . . . how to "live without one".

You see . . . I know about this first hand . . . because 14 years ago, I had mine removed due to the walls of my "gallbladder" thickening with the possibility of a rupture.

But you know . . . to be honest . . . if I knew then . . . what I know today . . . I probably could have fixed the situation and saved myself a lot of discomfort and surgeries.

Because not only did I have my "gallbladder" removed . . . the surgeon was unaware that I had an extra valve attached to my "gallbladder" . . . and therefore . . . he didn't tie it off . . . leaving me with "bile" leaking into my abdominal cavity for 5 days . . . "poisoning me" . . . before anyone in the hospital detected what was happening.

And with this . . . I had 2 more surgeries after my "gallbladder" surgery to fix the problem they had created . . . all within a 30 day period.

So needless to say . . . this left me . . . in a world of hurt . . . weak and in extreme pain . . .

BUT . . . with a NORMAL "gallbladder" removal . . . the "body" can lead a "perfectly" normal life "without" is organ . . . due to the "liver" taking over the job of the "gallbladder" . . . and now making enough "bile" to digest the food we eat . . .

With only "ONE" difference . . .

And tomorrow . . . we'll continue to understand the possibilities of a "normal" life after "gallbladder surgery" . . .
