"Lupus" - the mystery disease.

Today let's honor the people that are inflicted and suffering with "Lupus".
Let's take today to do some research and find out why this painful disease has no cure.
What is "Lupus"?
"Lupus is a systemic autoimmune disease that occurs when the body's immune system attacks its own tissue and organs, which can cause severe damage and even failure if left untreated. Science "does" know that the "inflammation" caused by "Lupus" can affect the joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart and lungs.
Science also believes that "Lupus" is the result from a combination of genetics and "environment". And over 90% of the people that have "lupus" are women between the ages of 15 and 45. Unfortunately . . . statistics also show that "lupus" causes people to die young primarily from kidney failure.
So what are the 4 types of "lupus"?
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), the most common form
Cutaneous lupus, a form of lupus that is limited to the skin
Drug-induced lupus, a lupus-like disease caused by certain prescription drugs
Neonatal lupus, a rare condition that affects infants of women who have lupus
The first symptoms of "lupus" usually occur in teenage years and then in the 30s with fatigue, fever and hair loss being the first few symptoms. Other symptoms that can occur are butterfly-shaped rash on the face, raised red patches on the skin, sensitive to light, ulcers in the mouth and/or nose, arthritis in two or more joints, plus swelling or tenderness, inflammation in the lining of the heart or lungs, seizures or other nerve problems or too much protein in your urine.
Now . . . As with any autoimmune disease . . . the lack of "good" bacteria in the body is always the main reason the body is inflicted. Without an army of defense . . . the immune system is weak and more susceptible to contracting disease. And as we know from previous Health tips . . . there's only one reason the body would attack its own organs.
And that's due to "miscommunication" of the immune system.
And what have I taught you????
That's right . . . the "silent destroyers" we consume every day and the reason the immune system "miscommunicates" with itself.
Okay . . . so the good news is . . . there is some relief . . .
And that's my favorite little spice "Ginger" it's actually a very powerful healing agent for "lupus". Another is "Turmeric" due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
But most importantly . . . we need to STOP eating "nightshades" these are the "silent destroyer" of our immune system. Help the body to start "communicating" with itself again and start healing today.
So please, let's take today to honor all of you suffering from this debilitating disease.
My prayers and love are with you.
