"Oil Pulling"

Okay . . . so today let's discover the possibilities of "oil pulling"

First question . . . what the heck is "oil pulling"

Well . . . "oil pulling" is an ancient practice that involves swishing oil and saliva in the mouth to remove bacteria, promote oral hygiene, treat tooth decay, kill bad breath, heal bleeding gums, prevent cavities and even to help prevent heart disease.

Okay . . . so let's get right to it . . .

Now . . . this practice should be done in the morning on an empty stomach.

Why you ask???

Well . . . "oil pulling" triggers the release of the "maximum amount" of "enzyme"-containing saliva. And these "enzymes" remove toxins and bacteria out of the body's "lymph fluid" and "blood" that we spoke of a few day ago.

And all you have to do . . . is put a teaspoon of "organic UNREFINED cold pressed coconut oil" (no substitutes please) in your mouth, let it melt and swish it around . . . pulling it in between the teeth for around 15-20 minutes.

But . . . DO NOT GARGLE with it!!!!

I do this when I'm in the shower and then getting dressed and ready for my busy day to save time. And after my times is up . . . I spit, rinse, brush, floss, rinse again and I'm good to go for the day with a clean mouth and a detoxed body.

Now . . . DO NOT SWALLOW the oil, it's filled with toxins!!!!!

And when rinsing the mouth . . . use warm or room temperature water . . .

If we use cold water . . . any leftover "oil" in the mouth will harden and stick to your teeth with the toxins. Not good!

Okay . . . next question . . . how often should we "oil pull"???

Well . . . if we suffer from gingivitis, gum disease or any other disease or ailment . . . "oil pulling" once a day will improve your mouth issues and any other ailments in the body. If you have good oral health . . . "oil pulling" 1 -2 times each week is a good maintenance plan.

Okay . . . now just so there's no surprises . . . coconut oil is "clear" when warmed in the mouth . . . but the longer you "pull" . . . the more microbes and toxins are pulled free . . . and the oil now becomes "milky white" . . . this is a good indicator that the bacteria in your mouth are being "pulled" off your teeth. And toxins "pulled" from the body.

And tomorrow, we'll continue to talk about other benefits of "oil pulling"
