"Omega-3 fats" and "Asthma" - continued


So we've discovered in the past few weeks . . . just how important "Omega-3 fats" are to our body for "optimal" health.


So today let's continue . . .


We now know . . . that there's a "relationship" between diet and "respiratory disease".


And this is due to . . . this Western diet being filled with "TOO" many "Omega-6 fats" and "sugar" . . . which are . . . literally "killing" us!


So today . . . let's talk about several ways to obtain a "healthy" respiratory system . . . and therefore . . . helping to alleviate not only "asthma" . . . but COPD and certain forms of cancer.


First up . . . specific vitamins and minerals such as . . .


Vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, selenium, magnesium and zinc.


And with this . . . consuming an "anti-inflammatory" diet would help to alleviate "lung" issues.


Adding . . . Almonds, hazelnuts, raw seeds, blueberries, strawberries, apples, leafy greens. broccoli and kale . . are good examples of healthy "anti-inflammatory" foods that contain these vitamins and minerals.


And for adults and older children, drinking teas like . . .


Ginger, Mullein and Licorice


Another element to "alleviating" asthma would be . . .


Staying "hydrated"!!!


Why you ask???


Well . . . when the body is "dehydrated" . . . the airways can become "dry" and "irritated" . . . which in turn . . . "triggers" asthma symptoms like . . . coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath.


So please . . . make sure you and your babies are "DRINKING" enough water.


And finally . . . as we've been talking . . . adding "OMEGA-3 fatty acids" . . . back into the body and our diet . . . has the ability to help in the reduction of EXCESS "immunoglobulin antibodies" . . . that cause "inflammation" of the airways . . .


Which leads to an "ASTHMA ATTACK"!


So tomorrow . . . let's talk about some of the foods and beverages that can "trigger" asthma and/or "damage" to our lungs.
