"POOP" - Are we doing it right?

NOTE: First thing today . . . I just want to let you know, that it was brought to my attention yesterday that the PROMO CODE to my book . . . "The Compliant Cookbook" was not working . . . so I had to change the CODE to . . . CONTROL! . . . so the discount will still be applied . . . Thanks to all that have purchased a book . . . you make me proud that you are jumping on board with "compliant anti-inflammatory" eating. Keep up the good work!

Okay . . . so today let's do a quick Health tip on "poop" . . . because it "is" a necessary function of the human body . . .

So the question for today is this . . . Are we doing it right???

I bet you never thought someone would be asking you that question!

But how many times we "poop" in a day can make or break our health . . .

So how many times a day do you "poop"???

Well . . . if you're looking at a scale with "good" being a 10 . . . and "bad" being a 1 . . .

"Pooping" 3 times a "day" would be a "10"

And "pooping" 3 times a "week" would be closer to a 2 or 3.

With "pooping" once a week or not even . . . being a "1".

You see . . . normal for optimal health . . . is having at least 1 bowel movement "everyday".

But many of us find ourselves having "ghost poop" instead . . .

So what's a "ghost poop" you ask???

Well . . . it's an urge to poop that ends up only being gas . . . or a small poop that's so smooth it goes down the drain before you can even turn around to see it.

So how does all this work . . . really???

Well . . . there's such a thing called "gastrocolic reflex" and it's the normal reaction the body has to eating food.

Now . . . when food hits the stomach . . . the body releases certain hormones. And these hormones tell the colon or large intestine to contract to move food through and out of the body to make room for the food we just ate. This is NORMAL!

"Gastrocolic reflex" is a physiological reflex that controls the motility of the lower gastrointestinal tract following a meal.

But . . . if your "gastrocolic reflex" isn't working properly . . .

This can be a result of food allergies and/or food intolerances, anxiety, gastritis, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease or Crohn's disease.

And basically . . . a lack of proper pooping . . .

So how do we fix this problem . . . so we can "poop" more regularly???

Well . . . at least 2 meals a day (I recommend 3) should include high-fiber raw vegetables. This will stimulate the "gastrocolic reflex". And as you know . . . I'm always talking about how we don't take anywhere near enough "probiotics".

Well . . . adding a "compliant" probiotic to the diet would help to regulate how many times we "p0op" per day also.

So tomorrow we'll continue to discover the possibilities of a healthy bowel movement and "digestive enzymes".
