So, I did a thing!

I was minding my own business . . . just building a crossbeam for a hanging lamp on my office deck . . .

And "BOOM" . . . I got attacked by a 2 x 4 . . . it just seemed to come out of nowhere.

But . . . a quick trip to Urgent Care and . . . "4 stitches" later . . . I'm back in the saddle, as they say . . . and finished the project

The doctor did an "awesome" job sewing me up.

Lamp crossbeams done . . . and my "oasis" is complete with the "ambiance" of the night
