So yesterday, we spoke about the negative effect "too much" "arginine" can have on the body. And the effect "nitric oxide" that "arginine" converts into . . . has on "Viruses".
Today, let's dig a little deeper . . .
So the amino acid called "arginine" is used many times for the treatment of heart and blood vessel conditions including congestive heart failure, chest pain, high blood pressure and coronary artery disease due to this amino acid providing the raw material from which the body makes nitric oxide, a molecule that helps relax and open blood vessels.
"Arginine" is also used for treating erectile dysfunction . . .
But . . . increasing your "arginine" intake can put people at risk if . . .
They have conditions such as cancer, asthma, allergies, liver or kidney problems, low blood pressure, sickle cell diseases, a bleeding disorder or . . . have had a heart attack!
"Too much" arginine and nitric oxide has also been shown to cause abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, gout and raising testosterone levels which may actually cause "hair loss".
So what effect does too much "arginine" actually have on "viruses"???
Well . . . let's pick a few viruses and explore the possibilities.
If you have "Herpes Simplex . . . like most of the world's population . . .
And by the way . . . I was totally blown away at how many people actually have herpes.
Believe it or not . . . 1 in every 2 Americans has oral herpes . . . with genital herpes affecting 1 in every 6 people ages 14 to 49. And unfortunately . . . most people haven't been diagnosed yet, so that number is way low.
It's estimated, that in the U.S. there are over 195 million people with genital herpes and worldwide 3.7 billion people under the age of 50
Okay . . . so listen up people if this applies to you . . .
Herpes simplex virus, that causes cold sores on the mouth or genital sores . . . requires "arginine" to "replicate" and "thrive" in the body. And "depriving" this virus of "arginine" can "reduce" the duration and severity of an outbreak. Thank goodness . . . information for some relief for those inflicted.
So what about the "shingles" virus???
Well . . . in the U.S. there are about 1 million cases of shingles every year and 50% of the population who lives to 85, will experience shingles during their lifetime.
And again . . . adding food high in "arginine" to the diet can "promote" the "growth" of the "shingles" virus.
And what about "influenza" viruses???
Same holds true . . .
This is important people!!!!!
The "absence" of the amino acid called "arginine" will result in "empty" virus "particles" that are free of viral nucleic acid (DNA or RNA). "Arginine" is an essential "requirement" for the "replication" of viruses and progression of viral infections.
And if you read my Health Tip about the "coronavirus" . . . then you know, that the "corona" is an RNA virus.
So just to clarify . . . because I want to make sure you all get this . . .
I'm not talking about the amino acid "arginine" that the body "produces" itself. We need this amount of naturally made substance for all the positive reasons we spoke of at the beginning of this post and yesterday.
What I'm talking about is the over abundance of "arginine" we get from the type of foods in this Western diet we love so much. So when I say the "absence" of "arginine" will result in disarming the virus by eliminating its DNA/RNA (kind of like its heart), I mean the "absence" of the EXTRA "arginine" we consume every day from our dietary intake.
So the question for today is this . . . is science exploring this avenue to help us???
Well . . . I have no idea, because I couldn't find any research that they are using this important information to inform the public. All I found was that they are trying to fix this mess with synthetic vaccines.
