The wonders of "Pumpkins"

So yesterday we spoke of ways to get in shape this fall . . .
Well today . . . we're going to discover how "pumpkin seeds" can help.
As we now know . . . "pumpkin seeds" contain powerful anti-parasitic properties which can help eliminate various parasitic infections in the body. Which by the way . . . is a very common cause of weight gain in the U.S.
And believe it or not . . . at least 14% of the U.S. population . . . that's about 3.7 million people are affected with parasitic infection (those are the ones that have been diagnosed) . . . but many of us don't even know this is our problem with poor health or weight issues.
But that's a topic for another day . . .
What we're going to concentrate on today is the "bad" bacteria I'm always talking about that can aid in "weight gain" and "cravings".
Now, remember from previous Health tips . . . when this "bad" bacteria in the body is overgrown and out of control . . . it can affect our hormone regulation process, metabolism, fat deposits and more.
But guess what???
Not only do "pumpkin seeds" help rid the body of parasites . . . they also contain powerful anti-fungal proteins that can kill and deplete a "bad" bacterial infection . . .even a vaginal yeast flare-up.
You see . . . "Pumpkin seeds" are loaded with healthy fats, magnesium and zinc. And have been known to be very beneficial for a healthy intestinal ecosystem.
So how exactly do "pumpkin seeds" help with weight loss???
Well . . . "pumpkin seeds" contain one of the highest sources of "zinc" when it comes to plant foods. And this extra zinc can inhibit and fight a "bad" bacterial overgrowth.
Zinc helps to maintain good intestinal health and reduce intestinal inflammation. Which helps in losing weight. And they're naturally low in sugar and carbohydrates.
Remember from previous Health tips that "bad" bacteria's main food source is anything containing SUGAR . . .
Well . . . "pumpkin seeds" are not only an anti-fungal . . . they're also very low in sugar.
"Pumpkin seeds" are also a rich source of healthy fats. They contain powerful anti-microbial properties which can help to detoxify the body.
And they're a great anti-inflammatory omega 3 that has the ability to effectively reduce "sugar cravings".
Right there we've just lost some weight.
"Pumpkin seeds" are rich in "fiber" protein and unsaturated fatty acids, which can all play a supportive role in healthy weight loss and maintenance.
So it's ease to incorporate these tiny super foods into your diet to burn some fat.
Now . . . as we've been talking for the past few weeks . . .
We must be mindful as to how much "arginine" and "lysine" are in the food we consume.
And tomorrow, we'll discover whether "pumpkin seeds" are "compliant" or not.
