Today, we talk "Peanut butter"


Okay . . . so "raise" your hand if you're a "Peanut butter" lover.


And then . . . let's discover if "peanut butter" is "good" or "bad" for us . . .


Because I know when I was growing up . . . this was a "staple" at my house . . .


Okay . . . so what do we know???


Well . . . "peanuts" and "peanut butter" are typically considered a "protein food".


And "peanut butter" is made into a paste or spread from ground, dry-roasted peanuts . . . that commonly contains additional ingredients that modify the taste and texture such as "sugar" and "salt".


Now . . . conventional thinking states . . . "peanut butter" and "peanuts" can be a healthful option when people enjoy it as a "balanced" diet due to being a protein and containing "magnesium" . . . which as we know . . . can help protect the heart and manage blood sugar levels and body weight.


But . . . the side effects of eating "peanut butter" and "peanuts" for many people are . . .


Hypertension, weight gain, acid reflux, heart disease, neurological disorders, allergic side effects, an increased in sodium intake, Omega fatty acid "imbalance", a high quantity of saturated fats, inhibited blood clotting and indigestion.


Now . . . "peanut butter" . . . as we know . . . is high in "saturated fats" and eating too much can lead to "high cholesterol".


So what are the other issues with most "peanut butter" we buy today???


Well . . . unless specified on the label . . . they're loaded with "sugar" . . . which as we know . . . feeds the "bad" bacteria
