What "Digestive Enzymes" do we need?

So the questions for today are this . . .

Do you need more "digestive enzymes" in your diet???

Are you suffering with stomach or intestinal discomfort???

Do you have eye issues???

Do you have "brain fog"???

Well . . . if you answered "yes" to any of these questions . . . then you may need to add some different foods into your diet or take a "digestive enzyme" supplementation.

So the next question we need to ask is this . . .

What "enzymes" . . . do "what" for the body???

Well . . . there are 4 main enzymes we're going to talk about today . . .

So let's better understand . . .

"Amylase" - breaks down "carbohydrates" and/or "starches" into "sugar" molecules . . . and if you're "deficient" in this enzyme . . . it can lead to constant diarrhea.

"Lipase" - works with liver bile to break down "fats" . . . and if you don't have enough of this enzyme . . . the body will lack the fat-soluble vitamins like A, D, E and K

"Protease" - breaks down "proteins" into amino acids. This enzyme also helps to keep "bad" bacteria, yeast and protozoa out of the intestines . . . and a shortage of this enzyme can lead to allergies and toxicity in the intestines.

And to better digest "veggie" . . . we would need . . . "cellulase"

You see . . . "cellulase" is an enzyme that is an essential part of digesting plant fiber in veggie. And if you're deficient in this enzyme . . . it impairs absorption of nutrients, vitamins and minerals from the diet. And can cause abdominal pain, bloating and problems with the pancreas.

Okay . . . so next question . . .

How do we know if we need these "enzymes"???

Well . . . if you have chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cysts or benign tumors, blockage or narrowing of the pancreatic or biliary duct, pancreatic cancer, pancreatic surgery, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, bloating, excessive gas, cramping after meals, diarrhea, yellow, greasy stool that floats, foul-smelling stools, weight issues, have a hard time digesting beans . . . or you're lactose intolerant.

You may want to consult your own healthcare provider . . . because you are definitely lacking these "enzymes" for optimal health

DM me if you want my suggestion for supplements.

And tomorrow . . . let's talk "POOP"

As always, feel free to DM or contact me at:
