What does our "Brain" say about "Empty Calorie" foods?

So yesterday we discovered that "empty calories" are pretty much "everything" that we "love" from this Western diet
But . . . they turn into "fat" . . . and this "fat" is the "dangerous" fat called "visceral" fat . . . that collects around our "organs" causing "disease".
Now . . . I'm not gonna lie to you people . . . those "empty calorie" foods . . . do make us feel "pretty darn GOOD" . . .
But unfortunately . . . it's "ONLY" for the "short period of time" . . . which causes even more "CRAVINGS"
And that's one of the reasons . . . it's SOOOOO HARD to give up those "empty calories" foods.
Okay . . . so where does the "brain" fit into all of this???
Well . . . as we now know . . . "empty calories" can provide some "immediate" energy . . . due to being "high in sugar"
BUT . . . they "CAN'T" be utilized in the body to "build" muscle, supply vitamins and minerals, promote a sense of fullness . . . or provide any other nutritional value to our health.
So let's better understand why . . .
Now . . . I'm sure we can all agree . . . we all "love" this Western diet . . .
And its "yummy" empty calorie foods are just "calling" out our name . . . most of the time . . .
We "know" better . . . BUT . . . we "give into" those temptations because we know they "taste" SOOOO darn good . . .
And now . . . we convince ourselves . . . I'll "JUST HAVE A LITTLE . . . or I'll "JUST HAVE ONE" . . .
BUT . . . it's not that easy . . .
You see . . . when the body needs food . . . the stomach sends out the hormone called "Ghrelin" . . . which tells the "brain" . . . we're HUNGRY . . . and it's time to eat . . .
But . . . because we know this Western diet "tastes" so good . . . many times we make poor food choices . . . and with this . . . we consume those "empty calories".
Okay . . . so listen up people . . . this is how the body is supposed to work . . .
When we sense "hunger" . . . and present food to the stomach . . . the stomach and small intestine start the process of "digesting that food" . . . which in turn . . . sends new signals back to the "brain" that say . . . we're "full" and "satisfied" . . . and the "nutritional value" of that food is being shipped throughout the body.
Happy tummy . . . happy brain . . . happy, healthy body
BUT . . . when the food we choose are "empty calorie" foods . . . and they're presented to the stomach . . . even though the stomach may sense "fullness" . . . the "brain" says . . . wait a minute . . . what's the joke here . . . there's "NO" nutritional value here . . . so we must be "STILL" hungry . . . and therefore, the hormone "Ghrelin" is activated yet again . . . and now we want even more of those "empty calorie" foods.
You see . . . when there's NO "nutritional" value to food that has been ingested . . . the "brain" says MAYDAY, MAYDAY . . . and "flicks" on a switch to "SURVIVAL MODE".
And with this . . . the "brain" essentially "switches" off the part of the "brain" responsible for . . . conscious, intellectual and logical reasoning . . . leaving us with a basic primitive "survival brain" in the driver's seat to our "health.
