What don't we understand about "LECTINS"?

So today . . . my plan was to talk about "skipping meals" . . . but a dear friend got in touch with me about having some health issues and we determined these issues were caused by "lectins"

So since we were talking about "pasta" yesterday . . . which by the way is loaded with "lectins" . . . I thought we'd try to better understand . . .

Okay . . . so listen up PEOPLE . . . we as the general public and the medical profession . . .


How many times in your life . . . have you gone to the doctors for an ailment and been prescribed an "antibiotic" or "steroids"???

I'm sure the times are "plentiful".

And every time you've taken that "antibiotic" . . . it kills the "good" bacteria in our intestines and believe it or not . . . it takes 1 whole year for the body to replenish the "good" bacteria that was lost.

Now . . . "steroids" do the same thing to the body . . . but . . . it takes 5 years for the body to replenish what was lost.

This applies to children and adults

So you can clearly see . . . our body is always lacking the "good" bacteria we need for optimal health . . . leaving us with a compromised immune system.

Okay . . . so where do "lectins" come into play???

Well . . . "lectins" are nothing other than a small "protein" that are on almost all vegetables, grains and fruits. And the reason for this . . . is to protect that veggie, grain and/or fruit.

You see . . . "lectins" are toxic proteins that are in the seed and skin to protect that food from insects, birds, animals and unfortunately some of us.

Now . . . if the human body has enough "good" bacteria in the intestines . . . then we are good to go. "Lectins" will be eliminated and flushed out of the body as waste.

BUT . . . if the body is "lacking our "good" bacteria . . . this allows "lectins" to borrow small holes in the small intestinal wall lining and get into the bloodstream .

And with this . . . the toxic "lectins" can do everything from cause hormonal imbalance, arthritis, abdominal pain. vomiting, diarrhea, IBD, IBS, bloating, gas, joint pain and swelling, fatigue and tiredness, skin rashes, hives, inflammation, neurological symptoms, leaky gut, allergy like symptoms and "auto-immune disorders".

And it doesn't matter what kind of disorder you have . . . "lectins" are at the root of it.

Now . . . "lectins" don't play favorites with what part of the body they decide to wreck havoc on . . . but the 2 glands in the body that are the most affected by "lectins" are the "adrenal" glands and the "thyroid" gland . . . so if you have thyroid issues . . . this is due to toxic "lectins".

And even if you don't feel like you have a sensitivity to "pasta" etc. . . . but you have any of the ailments listed above.

YOU HAVE A "LECTIN" PROBLEM . . . and that's due to the body not having enough of the right kind of "good" bacteria in the intestines to eliminate them.

So what foods most commonly are high in "lectins"???

Well . . . that would be . . . beans, pulses, grains, fruits, berries, watermelon, potatoes, tomatoes, zucchini, carrots, some nuts, chocolate, peppermint, marjoram, nutmeg and "coffee" to mention just a few.
