Okay . . . so today we're going to talk about the world of "gluten-free".
A "gluten-free" diet involves excluding specific foods that contain "glutens" . . .
Now . . . like "lectins" that we've spoken about in many previous Health tips . . . "glutens" are also small "proteins" and in the "lectin" family.
And again . . . due to our lack of "good" bacteria in our intestines . . . these "gluten proteins" can cause a "gluten sensitivity" in the body.
And when this happens . . . is can cause problems like osteoporosis, infertility, nerve damage, digestive issues and seizures.
You see . . . once "glutens" get into the small intestine from the food we eat . . . they cause a reaction that destroys the lining of the small intestine. And this reduces the area for absorbing virtually all nutrients.
And now . . . we become "nutrient deficient" with illness and disease . . . knocking at our door.
So between "lectins" borrowing a large hole in the small intestinal wall to get into our bloodstream and wreck havoc on our brain, hormones and organs . . . and "glutens" just damaging the small intestinal wall so we can't absorb "any nutrients" . . . we don't have a change in H___ of losing weight or being healthy mentally, physically or emotionally.
So where can we find these "glutens" you ask???
Well . . . that would be in . . . bagels, breads, cakes, candy, cereals, crackers, cookies, dressing, flour tortillas, gravy, ice cream cones, licorice, malts, rolls, pretzels, pasta, pizza, pancakes, sauces, stuffing, soy sauce, spelt, rye, barley, WHEAT, veggie burgers, vegetarian bacon, and vegetarian chicken patties and BEER just to mention a few.
So again . . . this is an element like "lectins" that needs to be eliminate for 30 day to clean out the body and help heal it. And while doing that . . . the body needs to be replenished with our army of defense called "probiotics" or our "good" bacteria.
