So, the question for today is this . . . How do "OXYGEN" rich foods help the body?
Well . . . first and foremost . . . consuming "oxygen" rich foods . . can maintain a "NORMAL" oxygen level in the body . . .
Hence, the "perfect" pH level . . . that we spoke about yesterday.
And with this . . . it will help to "strengthen" muscles and increase their "energy".
You see . . . when the body doesn't get enough "oxygen" . . . it can make us feel very fatigued.
And . . . ample "oxygen" in the body . . . can "improve" circulation and tissue oxygenation . . . which can facilitate the "removal" of "waste" products from the body.
VIA . . . the "lymphatic system" . . .
And yet . . . just another reason we need our "lymphatic system" functioning properly FIRST . . . so, it "CAN" eliminate the waste!!!
"Ample" oxygen in the body . . . also has the ability to "HEAL" the body through the production of granulation tissue . . . and for ensuring resistance "AGAINST" infections.
Okay . . . so, what bodily organs need the MOST "oxygen"???
Well . . . they would be . . .
The liver, brain and heart . . .
With the liver consuming 20.4 % of the oxygen . . . the brain 18.4% . . . and the heart 11.6%
Then we have . . . all of the skeletal muscles combined . . . consuming 20%
The kidneys 7.2%
And the skin 4.8%
So, you can clearly see just how important it is for the body to have . . . and maintain . . . "ample oxygen" . . . for a proper "pH" balanced . . . and optimal health and weight.
