"Tylenol" - good or bad?

So . . . last week we spoke about "talc" being a "carcinogen" . . .
Well . . . the question for today is this . . . is there "talc" in . . . "TYLENOL"???
And the answer would be . . . YES . . . in the name of . . . "magnesium silicate".
And guess what???
It also contains . . .
Corn starch
FD&C red 40 aluminum lake
Magnesium stearate
And TITANIUM DIOXIDE
With "ALL" OF THE ABOVE . . . being "CARCINOGENS"!!!
AND . . . "magnesium silicate" or "talc" . . . is used in "Tylenol" as a tablet "binder" for "acetaminophen".
Okay . . . so listen up people . . .
When taken is LOW DOSES . . . "acetaminophen" has been said to be safe by the FDA . . .
But . . . when taken all the time . . . "acetaminophen" has direct hepatotoxic potential and can cause . . . acute "liver" injury and even death from acute liver "failure".
Okay . . . so with that being said . . . did you know that "Tylenol" with its "acetaminophen" . . . is the MOST commonly consumed drug in the United States???
And why is "Tylenol" so popular???
Well . . . "Tylenol" was originally a "pain reliever" for children. But it's now the world's best-known "acetaminophen" brand on the market today . . . with it being around for about 50 years.
And now . . . more than 60 million Americans consume "Tylenol" on a "WEEKLY" basis.
With many . . . taking "Tylenol" on a "DAILY" basis.
But . . . "Tylenol" is also responsible for 56,000 emergency department visits, 2,600 hospitalizations and 500 deaths "EVERY YEAR" in the U.S.
SO "STOP" TAKING "TYLENOL" PEOPLE . . .
Even some doctors "aren't" recommending "Tylenol" anymore . . .
Why???
Well . . . Some doctors worry that "what" the "government" and "pharmaceutical" companies describe as the "maximum" safe dose of the active ingredient called . . . "acetaminophen" . . . is TOO CLOSE to the level that can damage the "liver" and even lead to "death".
Finally . . . someone is smartening up here.
So, tomorrow . . . we'll talk about "Ibuprofen"
