My dear THS Class of 1974 . . .
We're another week "closer" to our 50th class "reunion" . . .
And last night . . . I was doing a little reminiscing . . . going through our yearbook . . .
Thinking about the "fallen eagles" from our class . . . that won't have the "opportunity" to gather together again with us.
As we know . . . when an eagle "bows" its head . . . it bows in "honor" of a "fallen eagle" . . .
So, to honor our "fallen eagles" . . . that are with the angels above . . .
I "bow" my head in a moment of remembrance . . .
These are our "eagles" . . . and the thoughts they left us with . . . when we graduating 50 year ago.
Regina Stefaniak . . . I've saved some sunlight if you should ever need a place away from darkness.
Leslie Lemek . . . make the most of the best and the least of the worst.
Tom Elwell . . . to him whose elastic and vigorous thought keeps pace with the sun, the day is a perpetual morning.
Amber Farney . . . many people wander up the hill from all around you making up your memories.
John Horn . . . come on it's up to me, it's up to you, so let's do it now . . . can't stand it no more, the people cheating, burning each other they know it ain't right.
Laurie Dandurand . . . without honesty there is no truth, without truth there is no love.
Kevin Kalagher . . . simplicity is the beauty of life.
Mark Lombardo . . .
Ricky Roff . . . if it feels good, do it.
Greg Pezzente . . . the woods contain a life of their own which no one can own.
Charlene Gracie . . . and as the afternoon gives up the summer sun the shadow lengthens slowly one by one a million colors dart and dance and die, across the sky.
Lydia Panfili . . . truth is not everything you see.
Al Bachiacchi . . . I'll have enough money to last me the rest of my life, as long as I don't buy anything.
Diane Mattesen . . . we've seen so many winters come and so many old years go and held so many hands at dawn, we never really got to know each other.
Jeff Tompkins . . . keep on trucking.
Terry Jedrziewski. . . tomorrow is not promised us . . . so let us take today . . . and make the very most of it . . . the once we pass this way.
Steve Wilcox . . . it is well to let a little sunshine out as well as in.
Sharon Sherman . . . I can see how it might be possible for a man to look down upon the earth and be an atheist, but I can't conceive how he could look up into the heavens and say there is no God.
Life . . . is "short" my friends . . . don't miss out on what "could be" . . . the "last" time we get to see our fellow classmates.
