IMO - continued

Mindy Lee

So, yesterday . . . we discovered what IMO is . . . and how MISDIAGNOSED it is in today's world.

And with this . . . "IMO" was first diagnosed in 1980 . . .

But, unfortunately . . . "Conventional medicine" didn't "acknowledge" IMO as an illness until Oct. of 2023.

That right my friends . . . 2023!!!!!

It took them 43 years to decide that is was important enough for "insurance" to recognize it as an illness . . . and give it an insurance diagnostic code.

And if "your" doctor can't figure it out . . . here's the code to give him . . . K62.829

Now . . . Methanogens are anaerobic "archaea" . . . that "normally" live in the "large" intestine . . . and are found in the "left colon" . . . where "stool" is solid.

These "methanogens" consume hydrogen from the body . . . and produce methane in the gut . . . and we need them in the "large" intestine for optimal health.

So, how does this work you ask???

Well . . . as we know know . . . there are 2 kinds of Archaea bacteria in the "large" intestine.

One producing "hydrogen" . . . and the other producing "methane".

So, we'll call them Archaea 1 . . . and Archaea 2 to better understand . . .

Archaea (1) bacteria . . . produces "hydrogen" as a "waste" product during fermentation (that's how our food is broken down) . . .

And Archaea (2) . . . consumes the excess "hydrogen" from Archaea (1) by making "methane gas" as a byproduct.

Got that so far???

Great . . .

So . . . what happens to the "methane gas" produced you ask???

Well . . . that would be when we "FART" . . . and "BURP"!!!

But . . . when Archaea "escape" from the "large" intestine to the "small" intestine . . . which is supposed to be basically "sterile" from any bacteria . . . good or bad . . .

They set up "housekeeping" . . . and cause issues like . . .

Bloating

Constipation

Flatulence

Abdominal discomfort

Heartburn

Anxiety

Fatigue

Nausea

and joint and muscle pain

So, let's make sure we understand the difference . . .

SIBO (Small intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth) . . . involves an overgrowth of "bacterial archaea" that produces "HYDROGEN" in the SMALL intestine (which is normally produced in the large intestine)

Whereas . . . IMO (Intestinal Methanogens Overgrowth) . . . refers to an overgrowth of "bacterial archaea" that produces "METHANE" in the SMALL intestine *which is normally produced in the large intestine).

And many times when tested for SIBO . . . the results will say you have both.

BUT . . . SIBO is the one they treat . . . because it's considered more common.

And if your doctor can't figure out SIBO . . . that code for insurance is K63.821

Okay . . . so "MY" question here is this . . . seeing's that I have my Sherlock Homes hat on today . . .

Are we being manipulated AGAIN???

LOOK at the codes . . .

LOOK at the dates . . .

SIBO - was discovered in 1939 . . . with a code of K63.821 . . . and acknowledge by some healthcare providers as of 2023.

IMO - was discovered in 1980 . . . with a code of K62.829 . . . but not often acknowledged by healthcare providers at all,

And they were BOTH acknowledged by "insurance" on the same date of "OCTOBER 2023"!!!!!

With IMO's number coming before SIBO's number . . . numerically

JUST SAYING!!!!

So, tomorrow . . . let's continue
