So, today . . . let's talk about another factor . . . to whether "mosquitos" LOVE you or NOT!!!
So, did you know . . . that "STRESS" . . . can determine whether you're MORE likely to be a mosquito's NEXT MEAL???
Well . . . believe it or not . . . this is TRUE!!!
So, let's break it down to better understand . . .
We all now know from previous health tips . . . that the "adrenal glands" are responsible for producing the hormone called . . . "Cortisol" . . .
And that the body needs this hormone to function properly in optimal health . . . and in "stressful" situations in life.
BUT . . . as we also know . . . "IF LIFE" . . . demands the body make TOO MUCH Cortisol (more than normal) . . . on a regular basis . . . due to this Western diet, lack of exercise, emotional state, etc. . . . the body "holds" that hormone.
And with this . . . we will see . . .
Weight gain
Purple stretch marks on the skin
Thinning skin that bruises easily
Muscle weakness
Osteoporosis
Increased blood sugar levels (diabetes)
Mood swings
Irritability
Depression
Anxiety
Difficulty concentrating
Insomnia
High blood pressure
Okay . . . so where does a "MOSQUITOS" fit into this equation???
Well . . . "IF" you do get "bit" . . .
As soon as a mosquito "starts" to bite you . . . and you have "high" levels of "cortisol" floating in your body from "STRESS"!!!
The "heightened" smell of the "cortisol" . . . will ATTRACT a host of NEW mosquitoes to join the party.
And the more "stressed" out the body gets about being "bit" . . . the more "cortisol" is produced . . . and the MORE mosquitoes will we FEASTING on you!!!!
And with this . . . this now . . . is a person . . . that will have MAJOR itching, swelling, inflammation and irritation!!!!
So, "IF" . . . you're a STRESSED OUT PERSON . . . you are MORE LIKELY . . . to be DINNER for a LOT of mosquitos!!!
So, tomorrow . . . let's talk about some ways to "STOP" mosquitos from loving you.
