So . . . we left off yesterday, talking about my review on the "new" carbonated juice drink.
And it wasn't favorable . . .
We spoke about the "high" level of "simple sugar" . . . that "feeds" the "bad" bacteria and "Candida fungus" in our body . . . to grow fast and out of control . . . causing weight gain, acne, illness and disease.
We also spoke about the Stevia in this product . . . and the fact . . . that Stevia can "ALTER" hormones in the body . . . especially in our "pre-teens" and "teenagers" . . .
So, let's continue . . .
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia states . . .
When the body has "too much" of the hormone called "cortisol" . . . it can "SLOW" a child's "GROWTH" . . . disrupt "PUBERTY" . . . and cause obesity, acne, mood changes . . . and in extreme cases . . . "Cushing's syndrome".
Now . . . we know for most females . . . puberty starts between 8 and 13 years of age . . .
And with most males . . . starting between 9 and 14 years of age.
We also know . . . "puberty" . . . is a period of "enormous" difference in physical, hormonal, sexual, social, cognitive and neurological behavior.
And with this . . . we also find a level of instability in attitude, behavior issues, responsibility and moods swings . . . that can look and feel like "mental health issues".
Which the U.S. National Library of Medicine, National Center of Biotechnology Information states . . . is a "natural" element of puberty . . . due to a "normal" increase of "cortisol" when going through this change in life.
They go on to say:
"Before the transformations of puberty . . . the body is a protective vessel that acts as a stable reference for the child. A child's emotional security is derived from a sense of predictability and well-being".
But . . . when a child . . . experiences "puberty syndromes" . . . like consuming "too many" SIMPLE SUGAR" . . . and/or . . . "STEVIA" . . .
This typically causes issues that "affect" the glands that produce hormones like . . . "cortisol".
And with "puberty syndrome" . . . it can cause a child to "start" puberty "EARLIER" or "LATER" than normal.
When I was a kid . . . the majority of us started our "period" at the age of 16 . . . but, in today's world girls are starting "WAY TOO EARLY" . . . for optimal health later in life.
So, tomorrow . . . let's continue to talk about the ramifications of our "children" consuming too much "sugar" . . . and/or . . . "Stevia".
