Good morning my friends . . . on this cold wintery day . . .
And just for the record . . . I NEED SPRING!!!
So, for the past few weeks we've been talking about "SELF-CARE", cancer, the gallbladder, bile and the liver . . .
So, this week let's discover the "possibilities" that we may be "missing" . . . as we get older.
Now . . . have you ever heard about the "bone/liver" Axis before???
Well . . . we actually have a "gut/liver" axis . . . and a "brain/liver" axis also . . .
But today . . . we're going to concentrate on our "bones" . . . because we all know . . . as we age . . . our "bones" need some help staying "STRONG"!
Okay . . . so, what is the "bone/liver axis" all about???
Well . . . it refers to the "complex" communication pathway between the "liver" and our "bones".
You see . . . this is where the "liver" significantly "influences" bone health . . . and vice versa.
So, what does that mean???
Well . . . "IF" the liver ISN'T functioning properly . . . this malfunction can "impact" our bone health . . . leading to bone diseases like peri-osteoporosis and "OSTEOPOROSIS"!!!
You see . . . in this natural process . . . the "liver" SHOULD secrete various hormones and signaling molecules to travel through the bloodstream to reach and communicate with our bones.
Now . . . an "endocrinologist" helps people with "osteoporosis" learn about this condition and the hormones that are involved . . .
Because "conventional medicine" states one of the major factors in "osteoporosis" . . . is the hormonal imbalance of "estrogen" in women . . . especially during menopause . . .
And this is due to the low hormone level of "estrogen" disrupting "bone" metabolism . . . leading to bone loss.
And rightly so . . .
But, what "IF" . . . this is only a "symptom" . . . and NOT THE REAL "ROOT" CAUSE of "osteoporosis???
You know . . . the "real" reason the hormone "estrogen" becomes low in the first place!!!
Well . . . tomorrow, let's continue to discover the possibilities . . .
