Good morning my friends . . .
So, this "weekends" feature . . . here at Miracle Meadows Farm Cottage Food Stand at 40 Seckar Rd. Willington, Ct is . . .
Homemade "GARLIC BREAD" . . .
And why is this bread so yummy and special???
Well . . .
For this little bread . . . I use "unbleached" red hard wheat bread flour . . .
Why you ask???
Well . . . this kind of flour . . . offers several health benefits over other flours like being . . .
Higher protein
Fiber
and Nutrient content
It's a good source of B vitamins, iron, zinc and "antioxidants" . . . which are beneficial for energy production, immune function and overall health.
I use . . . "olive oil" instead of "vegetable oil" . . . which most breads contain due to being cheap to use. But, are very "inflammatory" and high in Omega 6 fatty acids.
You see . . . "olive oil" is high in "Omega 3 fatty acids" and are an "anti-inflammatory" (healthy for you) . . . which supports heart health, promotes bone health, improves cognitive function and potentially reduces cancer risks.
