What are we doing to our body and health long-term?

So, today . . . let's continue . . .
And the next question we need to ask is this . . .
Are these and other weight loss drugs "worth" their use???
Well . . . so far this week . . . we've discovered . . .
All of them are . . . "synthetics" . . .
All of them . . . "mimic" our body's function
All of them . . . STOP WORKING once you stop taking them . . .
And therefore . . . we "gain" back the weight we lost!!!!
And "ALL" of them . . . "ALTER" the body's "internal dialogue" . . .
So, I would have to say the answer to this question is . . . NO!!!
You see . . . all of these "weight loss" synthetics" . . . and even "diabetic medications" . . . ALTER our "gut flora" . . .
Remember . . . that's the good to bad bacterial "ratio" in our large intestine for optimal health.
And even though these "synthetic" MAY . . . increase the benefits of . . . correcting our "Insulin" and/or . . . helping with weight loss . . .
End result . . . is they "ALL" . . . have "gastrointestinal" SIDE EFFECTS . . . like
Diarrhea
Nausea Bloating
Which should be telling us . . . they're messing with our gut!!!
Now . . . some over-the-counter "weight loss pills" are . . . "Orlos" and "Alli"
"Orlos" is a brand name for a weight loss pill containing the "active" ingredient called . . . "orlistat".
And "Orlos" is the LOW DOSE over the counter version of the prescription Xenical . . .
Which is a "synthetic" drug . . . that blocks pancreatic enzymes used in the digestion of fats.
And "orlistat" is classified as a "lipase inhibitor" . . . again . . . which "blocks" the digestive enzymes called "lipases" (fats).
This "undigested fat" . . . is NOT absorbed into the body and is NOW passed out as poop.
That's "IF" . . . we are pooping regularly . . . meaning everyday . . . at least once!!!
So, I don't see where this "over the counter" method is any healthier for us.
With side effects being . . .
Oily or fatty stool
Oily spotting on underwear or clothing
Gas with oily spotting
An urgent or increased need to have a bowel movement
Stomach pain or discomfort
Now . . . "Orlistate" . . . also decreases the absorption of "fat-soluble vitamins" like A, D, E, K and beta-carotene . . . all vital for optimal health.
Not good people . . .
So, let's have a "logical" moment . . .
The reason we're overweight in the first place is due to a "gut imbalance" of our "good" to "bad" bacteria RATIO. . .
Now . . . taking a "weight loss pill" or "injection" of any kind . . . prescription or over-the-counter . . .
Actually ALTERS our "gut imbalance" EVEN MORE!!!!
And many . . . if not all . . . weight loss products . . . specifically state in the FINE PRINT . . .
DO NOT TAKE . . . is you're pregnant . . . breastfeeding . . .
or . . . HAVE A DIGESTIVE DISORDER . . .
People . . . we eat this Western diet . . . and we ALL have some form of "digestive disorder" because of it!!!!
Okay . . . so, tomorrow . . . let's see if the "over-the-counter" weight loss pill called . . . Alli . . . is any better.
