What is a Plan "B"?


So life . . . "doesn't" always go according to plan in this crazy world we live in today.


And that's why it's so "important" to have a "PLAN B"


So what exactly is this "Plan B" I speak of???


Well . . . a "plan B" . . . is an "alternative" plan of action for use . . . "IF" the "original" plan should "fail"!


And the reason it's so "important" to have a different plan of action on the back burner so to speak . . . is because . . . it makes us more "resilient".


And "resilience" means . . . being able to adapt to difficult or challenging life experiences.


It helps to "prepare" us for the future . . . and give us "peace of mind" . . . that "IF" all else fails . . . we've got it covered with a "plan B".


Now . . . as we know . . . "planning" is essential to stay "focused" on our "goals" . . . like a "New Year's Resolution" . . . despite the constant development of situations that surround us.


And having a "plan B" (a backup plan) . . . is "crucial" to our success. This act of "preparing" . . . teaches us to "adapt" quickly to every situation


And some things we can do to put "plan B" into action would be . . .


Prioritize our budget . . . instead of going out to dinner, the movies, shopping, etc. as much . . . think about entertaining at your home and do a potluck dinner and Netflix .


Shutting lights off in rooms no one is occupying


Go grocery shopping with a "LIST" and "DON'T" deter . . . it's the extras that kill the budget . . . and most of the time those items are . . . "wants" . . . NOT . . . "needs"


Buying foods that haven't gone up is price yet like . . . frozen veggies, fruits, and onions to mention a few


And stop buying all those snacks that the body really doesn't need . . . again . . . those are "wants" NOT "needs"


So whether we're talking about our "New Years Resolution" or movement forward in life . . . we must have a good "GAME PLAN" . . . and in case that "fails" . . . a good "Plan B"


You see . . . in these troubled times . . . we need to live as our "forefathers" did . . . they were "always" thinking ahead and in survival mode.


We need to "prioritize" what's a "WANT" in our budget . . . apposed to what's an absolute "NEED" in our budget to live.


I think we as a nation . . . have forgotten the difference


We "need" to build a to-do list around our goals . . .


Have a single daily priority . . .


And "REFLECT" daily on our life . . . this helps to build a "plan B".


So ask yourself this simple question every day . . . what can I change "TODAY" to reach my "goals" of tomorrow in life???
