What is "GROUNDING" all about?

Good morning my friends . . .
Did you have an awesome weekend???
Well, as we know . . . fall is in full mode . . . with Halloween just days away . . . and Thanksgiving and Christmas on the horizon.
And with the cold weather and snow approaching fast . . .
I thought I'd take this week to remind you . . . that just because for many of us . . . "hibernation mode" is right around the corner . . .
We shouldn't forget about the act of "grounding" for optimal health these winter months and flu season.
So . . . what is "grounding" you ask . . . and why is it important to our health???
Well . . . "grounding" has 2 main meanings . . .
First . . . a set of techniques to manage overwhelming emotions by connecting with the present moment through sensor focus . . .
AND second . . . "EARTHING" . . .
Which is the practice of connecting your body to the Earth's surface to absorb "free electrons" from the ground.
This in turn . . . REDUCES inflammation . . . and IMPROVES ones health.
Now . . . as many of you know . . . I grew up on a farm where my mom and dad believed in "grounding".
And not only that . . . but, I grew up in an era that played outside barefoot all the time.
So, my generation . . . whether we knew it or not . . . practices "grounding" everyday walking barefoot on the grass and soil.
But . . . what about in today's world???
Do we "ground" on a daily basics???
I think NOT!!!
You see . . . "grounding" is about feeling more "centered" and calm . . . which manages stress and improves well-being.
And with this . . . it can help with overwhelming emotions like . . .
Anxiety
Anger
Sadness
And "Grounding"/Earthing for physical health is about . . .
Making direct contact with the Earth's surface to "absorb" its FREE ELECTRONS!!!
