And "Epsom salt" bath - continued

So, we've been talking about the healing affects of an "Epsom salt" bath . . .

But . . . there are people that shouldn't do this kind of "detox".

And they would be . . .

Pregnant women

If you experience dizziness or nausea

People with severe skin inflammation

Having skin infections

Having open wounds

People with diabetes

People with "low" blood pressure

You see . . . the "magnesium" found in Epsom salts can lead to "reduced" blood pressure and a slowed heart rate.

Now . . . an "Epsom salt bath" should be done "NO MORE" than 3 times a week.

And we should "drink" a glass of "water" before or after our bath . . . this will keep the body "hydrated".

You see . . . while Epsom salt can "hydrate" the skin . . . it can also "dehydrate" the internal body.

And sometimes . . . it may help produce a bowel movement which in itself can make us "dehydrated" and we don't even know it!

So . . . DO NOT take an Epsom salt bath if you're pregnant . . . have heart or kidney conditions or any circulatory problems.

And as always, please consult with your own healthcare provider before trying "ANY" new regiment.

As always, have a safe and healthy weekend . . . me "mindful" of your world . . .
