"CAFFEINE" is killing us!!!

So, as we spoke last week . . . we now know that an "overactive" Cortisol hormone (hypercortisolism) . . . is a well-documented cause of . . ."high blood pressure" (hypertension) . . .
And this week . . . we discovered that same "overactive" Cortisol" . . . also causes . . . "high cholesterol" . . .
Which "increases" the risk of a "cardiovascular events by 90% . . . including heart attack and strokes.
So, how does all this work you ask???
Well, as I said a week ago with "high blood pressure" . . .
"Cortisol" . . . DOES NOT PLAY WELL WITH "CAFFEINE"!!!
And that means . . . COFFEE . . . chocolate . . . and even "decaffeinated" coffee . . . because they "lie" to us . . . it still contains 20% "caffeine" . . .
Now . . . "caffeine" ELEVATES the level of Cortisol in the body . . .
And this elevated hormone NOW leads to "increased" liver enzymes . . . inflammation . . . and potential damage to the liver
And with this . . .
It "increases" the LDL (bad) cholesterol production . . .
Disrupts the liver's ability to remove LDL from the blood . . . causing it to accumulate. . .
And reduces HDL (good) cholesterol . . . which is responsible for clearing excess LDL (bad) . . .
High levels of "Cortisol" from the consumption of "CAFFEINE" . . .
Also promotes FAT DEPOSTION in the liver . . . contributing to "fatty liver disease" . . . which can also increase "insulin resistance" . . .
And with this combined effect of "high Cortisol" . . . and increased "blood sugar" . . . we now have "higher" triglyceride levels.
So, STOP drinking "COFFEE" . . . and/or having that sweet CHOCOLATE treat in the morning people!!!!
