"Cleaning" out "Oxalates"

So, today . . . let's finish the story about "oxalates" with . . .


How to "clean" out the body of these little '''crystals"!!!


So, yesterday . . . we spoke about "PAIRING" . . .


Meaning . . . if you're going to eat a meal with food choices "high" in oxalates . . .


Make sure you are also consuming a "calcium rich" food or taking a calcium supplement with that food.


This is called . . . "PAIRING" . . . to counteract the possible "negativity" of these crystals!!!


Next, we spoke about staying "hydrated" to FLUSH out these "crystals" from our kidneys. . .


So, today let's continue . . .


What else can help???


Well . . . things like . . .


With summer on its way . . . "watching how much we sweat" . . . rehydrating well after exercise and/or sweating outside


"Limit sodium and sugar" . . . high salt and sugar intake can increase the body's own "oxalate" excretion and "stone" risk . . . (tonsil, gallbladder or kidney)


And as I've spoken many time before about our important "Lymphatic system" . . .


This issue is NO different . . .


Stimulating the "lymphatic system . . . can help with "oxalate dumping" . . . and getting rid of these toxins from the body!!!


Next . . . "increase" calcium intake . . .


BUT . . . please, make sure you consult your own healthcare provider for amounts . . . and kinds . . .


Because NOT ALL calcium is created equal . .


And with that . . . "avoid" high vitamin C . . . because it can "convert" to "oxalate"!!!


Now . . . other vitamins and minerals that will help "prevent" STONE formation (tonsil, kidney, gallbladder) . . . would be . . .


Vitamin B6, Magnesium Citrate and Potassium Citrate . . .


But again . . . please consult your own healthcare provider for amount value.


And the final element . . .


When dealing with an "OXALATE" issue . . .


Cooking, sprouting or fermenting can . . . REDUCES some of the content (crystals) in that food!!!


So, for an example . . .


Eating "raw" spinach . . . "IF" you have a deficiency in "calcium" and an issue getting rid of "oxalates" . . .


Eating this "high" oxalate food . . . would NOT be a good choice for you . . .


BUT . . . COOKING that spinach . . . "reduces" the "oxalate" by 30% to 87% . . . depending on how . . . and . . . how long you cook it.


Now . . . boiling for 10 - 15 minutes allows the "oxalates" to "leach" into the water . . .


But, remember . . . to throw the water out after boiling is complete . . .


Whereas . . . "steaming" or "baking" are less effective . . . reducing "oxalates by only 5%- 53%.


So, for those of you that "suffer" from any kind of "stones" . . . Kidney, Tonsil or Gallbladder . . .


Please, we aware of what you're eating . . .


Even too much of healthy foods can cause distress to our body and mind!!!


So, stay safe and healthy this weekend . . . and remember to be "mindful" in your world!
