Okay . . . so, moving on . . . with one more ingredient in this "new" carbonated juice drink called . . . "Plezi Fizz" that's on the market today.
And that would be . . . "zinc oxide" . . .
Now . . . "zinc oxide" . . . is used as an "ADDITIVE" to help "improve" the appearance, flavor, texture and storage properties in food and drink.
It's used as a "bulking agent" and "filler" . . . which is also used in rubber, glass and ceramic products . . . and in paint . . . as a corrosion inhibitor and mildew controller.
It's "poorly absorbed" by the body . . . and can cause diarrhea, headaches, abdominal cramps and reduced immunity.
And guess what???
In 2017 . . . the European Commission . . . completely "BANNED" zinc oxide . . . due to its "negative" effects on the environment . . . and the promotion of "ANTIBIOTIC RESISTANCE" issues in animal.
BUT . . . the FDA here in the U.S. . . . "approves" zinc oxide because it's "considered safe" and effective for use in a variety of products like . . .
SUNSCREEN - due to blocking UV rays and less likely to clog pores in the skin
COSMETICS - in 25% concentration form
FOOD ADDITIVES - due to being a essential trace element
AND OTHER PRODUCTS - like nail products, baby lotions, bath soaps, foot powders, diaper rash ointments and more . . .
