Helping to "IMPROVE" our "SPLEEN" . . .



So, today . . . let's continue with ways to help "improve" the health of our "spleen".


Now . . . as we spoke a little bit yesterday . . .


To "improve" the health and function of the "spleen" . . . we would need to correct our "eating habits" by . . .


Eating a balanced diet with lots of fruits and vegetables


Choose whole grains like quinoa, oats, barley


Eat starchy vegetables like butternut squash and sweet potatoes


Include lean proteins like turkey, chicken, fish or eggs


Use seasonings like cinnamon, cardamom, pepper, cloves, rosemary, turmeric, sage and garlic (Momma Mimi's Spice Blend)


And AVOID eating RAW foods . . . due to these elements put a "strain" on the spleen in the process of digesting them


Now . . . "exercise" is another biggie . . .


Regular "exercise" can help keep the spleen, lymphatic system and immune system working properly


And then . . . there's "STRESS" . . .


WHEN WE'RE "STRESSED" OUT WITH LIFE . . . and then we eat this Western diet . . . THIS INFLAMES THE "SPLEEN"!!!!!


So, when we sit down to have a meal . . . GET RID OF THE PHONE . . . TURN THE TV OFF . . . and sit in silents or with your loved ones and have "mindful" conversation.


PEOPLE . . . LET YOUR DIGESTIVE TRACT . . . do its job correctly . . . and DON'T put anymore STRESS on it!!!


Okay . . . so, how can we "monitor" our "spleen" at home you ask???


Well . . . it's as simple as . . .


Gently feeling the area under the left rib cage . . . with your finger tips . . .


If the SPLEEN is "tender" or "enlarged" . . . we may have an issue brewing here!!!.


And it would now be time to set up an appointment with your own healthcare provider.


Now . . . tomorrow . . . let's talk about one more very surprising element to an "INFLAMED SPLEEN" . . .
