So today . . . let's talk about what "herbs" are a good choice to consume for "cataracts".
First up . . . a kitchen herb called . . . "saffron".
It's known for "helping" with the symptoms of "cataracts" . . . and can also "help" to "slow" down eyesight "degeneration".
Another "herbs" is . . . "fennel" . . . which has been known to treat "cataracts" and "glaucoma" . . . and with this . . . it can also help with "watery" and "inflamed" eyes.
So, adding these "herbs" to your cooking may help with your eye sight.
Now . . . another factor with "cataracts" . . . is the body's "LACK" of vitamin C.
And the "Indian Gooseberry" is very "RICH" in vitamin C . . . even MORE than oranges, grapefruit and limes.
So, consuming this berry to the diet . . . has the ability to "strengthen" eye muscles and "prevent" cataracts.
You see . . . its "mightiness" in vitamin C . . . inhibits "free radicals" . . . which are one of the sources of cataracts.
Now . . . as we know . . . "cataracts" are associated with "age-related" changes in the eye . . . certain medications, surgery, sun exposure and disease . .
But . . . due to this Western diet we all love so much . . . and the number of people suffering from pre-diabetes or are a diabetics . . .
This issue . . . speeded up the "development" in adults and younger people of "early" cataract formation.
Now . . . there's also a powerful "antioxidant" that can help our "vision" . . . and that would be . . . "lutein".
But . . . getting this powerhouse in supplement form is "not" as effective as getting it from the food we eat.
And we can find "lutein" in . . . green vegetables, egg yolks, squash, corn, grapes and oranges.
Okay . . . so, tomorrow . . . let's talk about one more element to "clearing" up our baby blues!!!
