Is there a "Natural" way?

Okay . . . so today . . . let's talk about the "flip-side" of the Conventional NSAIDs that many of us take every day.
Now . . . the U.S. National Library of Medicine states . . . that taking NSAIDs every day can have long-term health risks like . . . INCREASING the risk of heart attack . . . stroke . . . heart failure and even "death" from cardiovascular disease . . . by 20%.
And this is due to NSAIDs . . . SUPPRESSING enzymes that AID in "blood-clotting" . . . and protecting the stomach's wall lining.
Which as we have discovered . . . can lead to bacterial and/or fungal infections in the stomach . . . causing stomach ulcers, internal bleeding . . . and kidney and liver failure.
Now . . . the people that should be on high alert when taking NSAIDs are the . . .
Elderly
Overweight
Having high cholesterol
High blood pressure
A history of heart attacks or strokes
Smokers
Pregnant women or those trying to conceive
Breastfeeding mothers
Asthmatics
A history of stomach ulcers
And people with liver, kidney or gastrointestinal issues
So . . . what are natural "alternatives" to help with our issues???
Well . . . adding elements like . . .
Omega 3 fatty acids with EPA and DHA
Glucosamine
Turmeric
and Bromelain . . .
To the diet . . . are excellent ways to "thin" blood naturally . . . therefore . . . reducing blood-clotting . . . . and reduce "inflammation" . . . which . . . can reduce our pain!
But as always . . . before changing ANY health regiment . . . you need to discuss it with your own healthcare provide!
So, let's break it down to better understand . . .
As we know . . . this Western diet we love so much is SUPER HIGH in Omega 6 fatty acids . . . and VERY LOW in Omega 3 fatty acids.
Hence . . . we all have "inflammation" and "pain" . . . and therefore, need to take NSAIDs.
So, correcting our "ratio" of Omega 6 vs Omega 3 . . . would fix our issue of unwanted "inflammation" and therefore "pain" and discomfort.
You see . . . this Western diet has a ratio of 49:1 . . .
Meaning . . . for every "1" Omega 3 we consume . . . we also consume 49 Omega 6s
People . . . the RATIO for optimal health and NO PAIN is . . . 1:1 ratio . . . NOT 49:1 !!!!!!!
Okay . . . so moving on . . .
"Glucosamine" is a major component of "cartilage" and the fluid that "lubricates" our joints.
And presented to the body . . . it can reduce inflammation and helps relieve "pain".
Now . . . "Turmeric" is a spice . . . that has natural "blood-thinning" properties, which reduces blood clotting . . . and can also reduce our pain
And "Bromelain" is a protein digesting enzyme . . . and it too . . . has natural "blood-thinning" properties and therefore . . . reduces pain
NOW . . . my go-to remedy . . . for protecting the stomach's "lining" from the destruction of NSAIDs is . . .
Eating "walnuts" . . .
That's right people . . . "walnuts"
You see . . . "walnuts" are high in Omega 3 fatty acids . . . WHOOHOO
But . . . their REAL secret is this . . .
"Walnuts" COAT the lining of the "stomach" . . . which can prevent the "NSAIDs" from destroying it and causing "acid" issues.
"Walnuts" . . . act as "prebiotics" . . . feeding the "GOOD" bacteria in the body to "support" a healthy and diverse gut microbiome
And by "altering" the gut microbiome in a "positive" way . . . it BOOSTS our protection from inflammation and reduces markers of inflammation in our GI system.
Which in turn . . . will help to reduce the "inflammation" that causes "PAIN" in the body.
