Keeping our "Mitochondria" healthy

So, yesterday . . . we discovered ways to keep our "Mitochondria" healthy through the "FOOD" we eat . . . and DON'T eat . . .
So, today . . . let's continue with other facets to our healthy "CELLS" like . . .
FOCUSING ON . . .
"Regular exercise" like . . . a brisk walk and strength training using light dumbbells or resistance bands
"Quality sleep" . . . which allows our "Mitochondria" to CLEAR out damaged parts of cells and REPAIR themselves as we sleep
"Stress Management" . . . high "cortisol" levels harm and damage our "Mitochondria"
And "Limit Toxins" like . . . smoking, pollutants and alcohol
So . . . FEEDING our "Mitochondria" is "KEY"!!!
And as we've discovered this week . . .
Eating an "Anti-inflammatory" diet . . .
And . . . eliminating processed food, smoking and drinking alcohol . . . is a MUST!!!
But . . . what about the "RIGHT" vitamins, minerals, amino acids and co-enzymes???
You know . . . the "MECHANICS" of our "Mitochondria" . . . and the survival of the human body
Well . . . we would need certain elements for our "mechanics" to run correctly . . .
It's just like the example I gave you a few weeks ago about your car . . .
You need the right type of "fuel" for your car to leave the driveway . . .
Just like we need the right type of "food" to survive . . .
We also need to "tune" up our car . . . so it runs smoothly . . .
And . . . vitamins, minerals, amino acids and co-enzymes . . . are our "TUNE-UP" for the "Mitochondria" of our "cells"!!!
And our "Mitochondria" needs . . .
"B-vitamin" like . . . B1, B2, B3
"Magnesium" like . . . malate and citrate
"Coenzyme Q-10" . . . an important antioxidant
"Alpha-Lipoic Acid" . . . another powerful antioxidant
"L-Carnitine" . . . an amino acid
"Vitamin C&E" . . . powerful antioxidants
"Creatine" . . . a compound that regenerates cellular energy
And "IF" . . . WE'RE EATING "CORRECTLY" , , , we should get most of these elements from the food we consume!!!
But . . . if we're lovers of this Western Diet and its processed food . . .
That's NOT happening my friends . . .
