"Like Supports Like" - continued Tues Oct 7th

So, yesterday . . . we discovered the possibility that the theory of "like supports like" . . . may just be an effective avenue to optimal health.

Now . . . even though this phrase may not be found in historical records as a 'direct quote" from our ancestors . . .

The concept behind it . . . which suggests that things of similar nature or origin . . . are "interconnected" . . . or mutually beneficial . . .

Have been present throughout human history . . . in "ALL" cultures!

Traditional Chinese Medicine or Ayurvedic medicine . . . operate on the principle of "balancing" opposing forces . . . or supporting . . . "similar" ones to maintain health.

Which is ultimately . . . "like supports like".

Sympathetic Magic's main principle states . . . objects or actions that resemble something else . . . are believed to "influence" that thing . . . therefore. . . "like" can influence or support "like".

And the Philosophical concept is this . . .

The "interconnectedness" of ALL things . . . or the idea of "harmony" and "balance" in nature . . . can be seen as "related" to the "principle" of . . . "like supports like"!!!

So . . . how does this "like supports like" . . . relate to us in real life???

Well . . . I'll use me as an example . . .

During my journey with "cancer" . . .

One of the elements that I had to deal with was . . . an "overload" of "histamine" in my body.

You see . . . "my" story . . . went like this . . .

In 2008 . . . I was burning the candle at both ends, so to speak . . . and became very ill with severe kidney stone . . . and 2 months later they determined that the kidney stone were due to having a Parathyroid tumor.

"Para" meaning "behind" the thyroid gland . . . which has nothing to do with the thyroid gland itself.

Well . . . 1 of them (we have 4) due to the tumor . . . was sending all my calcium into my kidneys . . . instead of to my blood and bones.

I had the tumor removed . . . which was "benign" thank goodness . . .

But, a month later I was diagnosed with a "thickening" gallbladder . . . which I also had removed.

And unfortunately . . . it was a "botched" job which I ended up having 2 more surgeries to fix it a month later.

Now . . . long story short . . . I had 4 surgeries in a short 5 month period . . . which upset my "small intestine" . . . leaving me with . . .

"DAO" deficiency . . . and all its symptoms!!!

And ultimately a year later with "terminal cancer"!!!

So, how did "like supports like" help me???
