"Mitochondrial" SUPPORT!

So, today . . . let's concentrate on HOW to FIX our MITOCHONDRIA . . . for optimal health!!!
First and foremost my friends . . .
We NEED to STOP eating this "processed" Western diet . . .
Why you ask???
Well . . . "processed foods" . . . lack the vitamins and mineral (micronutrients) the body needs for efficient "energy" production . . .
Which in turn . . . makes our "Mitochondria" . . . DYSFUNCTIONAL!!!!
So, what should we be eating instead you ask???
Well . . . focusing on a diet "rich" in . . .
COLORFUL vegetables like . . .
"Red" . . . tomatoes, red peppers, radishes, beets, red cabbage and red onions
"Orange" . . . carrots, sweet potatoes, yellow peppers, yellow beets, and winter squash (no corn, very detrimental to this cause)
"Green" . . . spinach, kale, broccoli, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, zucchini and cucumbers
"Purple/Blue" . . . purple carrots and purple cauliflower
"White/Brown" . . . cauliflower, turnips, onions, garlic and parsnips
WHOLE FOODS (meaning unprocessed, unrefined foods that retain their original nutrient, fiber and structural value . . . not added) . . .
FRUITS like . . .
Apples
Berries
Oranges
Mangoes
Pineapple
Avocados
WHOLE GRAINS like . . .
Quinoa
Brown rice
Oats
Millet
LEGUMES/BEANS like . . .
Dried beans
Lentils
Chickpeas
Blake beans
(not peas . . . detrimental to the cause)
NUTS & SEEDS like . . .
Almonds
Walnuts
Chia seeds
Flax seeds
Hemp seeds
Pumpkin seeds
LEAN PROTEINS/DAIRY like . . .
Fresh fish
Seafood
Unprocessed meats . . . chicken and beef
Eggs
Whole milk
HEALTHY FATS like . . .
Avocado
Olive oil
Coconut oil
Omega 3 fatty acids
LEAN PROTEINS like . . .
Skinless poultry - chicken breast, turkey
Fish - salmon, tuna, cod
Lean beef - sirloin, tenderloin
Egg whites
Now . . . tomorrow . . . let's focus on other ways to keep our "Mitochondria" healthy.
