So, yesterday . . . we spoke about where we find "Maltodextrin" . . .
Well today . . . let's continue
Now . . . if what we spoke of yesterday . . . wasn't bad enough . . .
"Maltodextrin" can also . . . "harm" our intestinal health by KILLING our good bacteria . . . and increasing the dangers of E. coli . . . and other "bad" bacteria . . .
And with this . . . "triggering" . . . IBD (inflammatory bowel diseases), which overwhelms our body, health and world!!!
Now . . . this highly "processed" GMO carbohydrate called "Maltodextrin" . . .
Is an "EMPTY CALORIE" carbohydrate . . .
With NO . . . NADA . . . ZERO . . . NUTRITIONAL VALUE
That causes . . . gas, bloating and diarrhea in sensitive individuals . . .
And . . . due to its "high-calories" . . ." high-carbohydrate" nature . . .
It can lead to weight gain when consumed "regularly" in processed foods.
And even the FDA states . . .
"Maltodextrin" . . . is safe in SMALL AMOUNTS . . . and . . . frequent consumption . . . especially for people with diabetes, prediabetes or digestive issues . . . is DISCOURAGED!!!
Well . . . that's just about EVERYONE in today's world . . . isn't it???
So, let's move on . . .
Now . . . "Maltodextrin" . . . produced by the "partial hydrolysis" of GMO starches . . .
Creates a white powder or syrup . . . that is easily soluble and often used as a "stabilizer", filter or sweetener . . .
It has a VERY high glycemic index (meaning high in calories) . . .
And will "SPIKE" blood sugar levels MORE than regular table sugar!!!
So . . . how does this "beast" compare with the other 2 OFFENDERS to our health???
Well . . . next up . . .
"Modified Corn Starch" . . .
And right there . . . we know we're in trouble . . . due to "corn" being a GMO food . . .
Now . . . "modified cornstarch" is starch that has been physically, enzymatically, or chemically . . . TREATED to CHANGE its properties . . . to make it cold-water soluble or heat resistant . . .
AND . . . "Maltodextrin" . . . is considered a "type" of "modified starch" . . . '
So, tomorrow . . . let's continue with the devastation that "modified cornstarch" can do to our health, body and mind!
