Natural supplements for "Hot flashes"!

So, today . . . let's continue with a few "herbs" that are good for controlling "hot flashes" . . .

And they would be . . .

Red Clover . . . this is due to it containing "isoflavone" which can help reduce the daily frequency of hot flashes.

Licorice root . . . has the ability to reduce the severity and frequency of hot flashes.

Garlic . . . contains "phytoestrogen" that mimics the body's estrogen . . . helping to balance hormone levels

Ceylon cinnamon . . . now, this is just "Ceylon", NOT Cassia (which is basically every grocery store cinnamon - IT MUST SAY CEYLON ON THE LABEL) (Cassia is filled with CARCINOGENS) . . . helps balance hormones, regulates blood sugar, is an anti-inflammatory . . . and influences "estrogen" levels and hot flashes

Hops . . . and I'm NOT talking about drinking "BEER" people . . . using "hops" in cooking like in soups, stews, chili, sauces, marinades . . . helps to regulate hormones . . . due to containing a plant compound called 8-prenylnaringenin that mimics the effect of estrogen . . . helping to alleviate hot flashes.

Black Cohosh . . . again, acts like estrogen, affecting "serotonin" pathways and reducing inflammation and hot flashes.

BUT . . . the "best" way to control our body's "thermostat" is by taking and consuming . . .

OMEGA 3 fatty acids . . . that we spoke of yesterday.

And that's an "ANTI-INFLAMMATORY" diet . . . my friends

You see . . . Omega 3 fatty acids help alleviate "hot flashes" by . . . reducing inflammation in the body . . .

Which corrects and balances the brain's "LIMIC SYSTEM" . . . with its "ESTROGEN RECEPTORS" . . .

So . . . the best way to control many of our "hormonal symptoms" . . . is going back to basics . . . and eating as our forefathers did . . . with "COMPLIANT" anti-inflammatory food.

NOTE: please make sure you consult you own healthcare provider before taking any new regiment or any new herbs into your diet.
