Our "Liver" and "Cholesterol"

Good morning my friends . . .


So, last week we spoke about our "liver" . . .


It's hidden connection to "acid reflux" . . .


And natural ways to help our "liver health"!!!


So, this week . . . let's talk more about the "liver's" function and our "cholesterol"!!!


Now . . . as we know . . . the "liver" is responsible for . . .


Clearing the blood of drugs and other poisonous substances


Regulating blood clotting


Resisting infections by making immune factors and removing bacteria from the bloodstream


And clearance of bilirubin . . . also from red blood cells . . .


BUT . . . did you know . . . that the "liver" also makes . . . 80% of the "CHOLESTEROL" the body needs to function properly for optimal health???


And THIS "cholesterol" . . . helps the body make cell membranes . . . many hormones . . . and vitamin D!!!


AND . . . the "liver" . . . actually MAKES all the "cholesterol" . . . the body needs to survive . . .


BUT . . . we also get "cholesterol" . . . from the food we eat . . .


And that SHOULD ONLY . . . be 20% per day . . .


So, the 80% the "liver" makes . . . and the . . . 20% we get from the food we eat . . .


Equals . . . 100% . . . of HEALTHINESS . . . for our body!!!


Now . . . a good example of how much 20% is . . . would be . . .


1 egg yolk contains about 200mg of "cholesterol" . . . which is the other 20% from our food . . . the body is allotted for optimal health!!!


Therefore . . . any other cholesterol from the food we've eaten from that day . . .


IS OVER and above a healthy diet.


Okay . . . so DON'T panic my friends . . .


Because . . . NOT THAT I AGREE WITH THE GOVERNMENT'S CONCEPT, MIND YOU . . .


But . . . current "dietary guidelines" . . . NO LONGER . . . set a specific numerical limit on dairy "cholesterol" intake for the general population!!!


Yes, you hear that right!!!!


Why you ask???


Well, they claim "dietary cholesterol" . . . has a smaller impact on "blood cholesterol" levels . . . than previously thought!


And tomorrow . . . we'll continue on that bandwagon . . .
