What are the body's "MECHANICS" all about?

So, today . . . let's explore the human body and its "mechanics" . . .
Now . . . most of us . . . understand the "mechanics" of the human body to be about . . .
The way the body "moves" and "positions" itself during daily activities like . . .
Sitting
Standing
or Lifting
You know . . . using our muscles, joints and bones efficiently . . . without strain.
And with this . . . "good mechanics" . . . involves . . .
Proper posture
Balance
Alignment . . . meaning our base of support and center of gravity
But . . . "IF" . . . you're a person that gets strained, sore muscles . . . sprains a wrist or ankle easily . . . or has joint pain . . .
You're a person with . . . "poor" body "mechanics"!!!
That's the part we see and feel . . .
But, what about . . . what's happening INSIDE the body???
Well . . . there's actually "mechanics" to EVERY system in the body also, like the . . .
"Cardiovascular system" . . . which transports oxygen, nutrients and hormones throughout the body
"Digestive system" . . . which breaks down food and absorbs nutrients
"Endocrine system" . . . which regulates bodily processes through hormones
"Excretory/Urinary system" . . . which removes waste products and balances fluid levels
"Integumentary system" . . . which protects the body and helps regulate temperature (including skin, hair and nails)
"Lymphatic system" . . . which defends the body against infection and plays a role in fluid balance
"Muscular system" . . . which enables movement, posture and heat generation
"Nervous system" . . . which coordinates bodily activities and processes information
"Reproductive system" . . . which facilitates reproduction
"Respiratory system" . . . which manages breathing and gas exchange
"Skeletal system" . . . which provides structural support, protects organs and produces blood cells.
So . . . you can clearly see . . . just how important it is to LISTEN to the "mechanics" of our body for optimal health.
So, tomorrow . . . let's break it down a little more . . . and figure out what we need to "LISTEN FOR" . . . in each category.
