What does "Covid" have to do with "menopause"?

So, the question for today is this . . . what part has the "Covid virus", its vaccines and boosters . . . played on how our body "deals" with "menopause"???


Well . . . the biggest factor is this . . .


The Covid virus . . . vaccines . . . and boosters . . . all "AFFECT" the "limbic system" negatively!!!!


You see . . . the U.S. National Library of Medicine states . . .


"Covid-19", its vaccines and boosters . . . ALTER the metabolism, perfusion, structure and connectivity of the "limbic system" . . . "AFFECTING" it "NEGATIVELY"!!!


Impairing it's normal function.


The U.S. National Library of Medicine ALSO states . . .


"Covid-19, its vaccines and boosters . . . can "disturb" menstrual cycles and "INCREASE" MENOPAUSAL SYMPTOMS!!!!!!!!


So "IF". . . you started menopause . . . have been going through menopause . . . or noticed your symptoms have been over the top in the past 4+ years . . .


It's most likely due to COVID -19 and it's vaccines and boosters AFFECTING the "LIMBIC SYSTEM"!!!


So, what else can disrupt the "normal" function of the "limbic system"???


Well . . . that would be this Western diet we all love so much!!!


You see. . . the Western diet . . . is "high" in saturated fat . . . and "refined" carbohydrates . . .


And this can "negatively" affect the "limbic system" . . . by "disrupting " its normal function. . . .


Which can lead to . . .


Impaired memory

Brain fog

Learning difficulties


And "alter" FOOD REWARD signaling in the brain . . . which increases "inflammation" in the brain . . . that causes cravings and overeating!!!


And this Western diet . . . contains "HIGH" amounts of Omega 6s . . . which also affects the "limbic system" causing . . .


Emotional issues

Memory loss

Motivational issues

Mood swings

Anxiety

and cognitive difficulties.


And with this . . . a "high" Omega 6 diet can also "disrupt" the balance of neurotransmitters like . . .


Serotonin and Dopamine . . . which are crucial for regulating mood and emotional stability.


And can also "increase" depression and anxiety . . . and "disturb" our SLEEP PATTERN . . . making it difficult to fall asleep . . . or maintaining sleep.


So, tomorrow . . . let's talk about what can help "CORRECT" our "LIMBIC SYSTEM" and help the symptoms of menopause.
